By Flag Day of Ukraine, activists want to launch a huge 25-meter blue and yellow flag over the occupied Crimea in order to support compatriots on the peninsula and show the whole world that Crimea is Ukraine. Natalya Lyutikova reported this via her Facebook page.
“Friends, let's do a good job on Flag Day of Ukraine! Let's launch a huge 25-meter blue and yellow flag over the Russian-occupied Crimea. We'll spoil the mood of the occupier and lift the spirits of our compatriots on the peninsula”,- the message says.
To implement this initiative, it is necessary to collect about UAH 15,000 to provide technical measures, manufacture a flag and create a structure that can fly the longest distance over the territory of the peninsula.
