In the first half of 2020, 27 cases of illegal transfer of political prisoners of Crimea were recorded, 23 of which were against representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. This is stated in the analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for the first half of 2020 by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

During the reporting period, the following individuals were subjected to such a violation: the defendandts in the so-called Krasnohvardiiske Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Rustem Emiruseinov, Arsen Abkhairov, Eskender Abdulhaniev, the defendants in the so-called Simferopol Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Teymur Abdullaev, Uzeir Abdullaev, and Ayder Saledinov, defendants in the so-called case of Ukrainian saboteurs – Vladimir Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov, defendants in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Enver Omerov, Riza Omerov, Ayder Dzhapparov, Ruslan Mensutov, Eldar Kantimirov, Ruslan Nagaev and Lenur Khalilov, as well as Oleh Prykhodko , Enver Seitosmanov, Serhiii Filatov and Nariman Memedeminov.

Some political prisoners were subjected to illegal transfer twice.

We remind that in the first half of 2020, at least 23 searches were recorded in the occupied Crimea, 13 of which were carried out in the dwellings of Crimean Tatars, 48 arrests, 16 of which were in relation to Crimean Tatars and 52 cases of interrogations, interviews and conversations, 21 of which – against the representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. In addition, 150 cases of arrests were recorded, 115 of which were against the representatives of the indigenous people. Out of 150 cases: 28 – new arrests / sentences, 122 – extension of the terms of detention of political prisoners in Crimea. It is also known about 231 cases of violations of the right to a fair trial, 188 of which – against the representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people and 74 cases of violation of the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, 58 of which were against the Crimean Tatars.
