“In the water area of the Sevastopol Bay, within the framework of the celebrations dedicated to the Day of the Russian Navy, the formation of the parade formation of the Black Sea Fleet ships has begun”,- the press service said.
It is noted that the parade will be held on July 26. The first parade line will have eight warships and support vessels, including the newest mine defense ship Ivan Antonov, the Orekhovo-Zuevo small missile ship, the Ivan Khurs special-purpose ship, the Yamal large landing ship, and patrol ships Ladny and Pytlivy, guards missile cruiser Moscow and patrol ship of the Russian FSB Border Service.
We remind that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held in the occupied Crimea. The Russian military exercises are destroying the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a flagrant violation of international law.
Earlier, NATO in its statement on Crimea condemned Russia's ongoing large-scale military build-up in Crimea and expressed concern over Russia's efforts and announced plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
