Occupants launch a new railway direction to Crimea

On Sunday, August 2, the Russian company Grand Service Express will open a new railway line to the occupied Crimea. The first direct races will depart on the Pskov – Evpatoria route. This was reported by the carrier’s press service.

“At 13:20, the first direct race will leave on the Pskov – Evpatoria route. From Evpatoria, the race will leave on July 29 and arrive in Pskov at 19:00 on July 31. From Pskov, the races follow by train No. 489/490 to Chudovo station, then the races are included in the train. train No. 179/180 St. Petersburg-Evpatoria”,- said the message.

We remind that on November 8, 2019, in the occupied Crimea, at all railway ticket offices, the sale of railway tickets from Crimea to Moscow and St. Petersburg started. On December 23, the first passenger train departed from the Moscow railway station in St. Petersburg to the occupied Crimea. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Romania condemned the opening of railway traffic on the Kerch Bridge and reiterated their non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea. On March 7, between Kerch and Anapa, a regular railway service will open through the Crimean Bridge. The carrier will be the South Suburban Passenger Company.
