The militarization of Crimea poses a danger to both the Black Sea and the Mediterranean regions – Dzheppar

During a meeting with the Greek Ambassador to Ukraine Vasilios Bornovas, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar emphasized the importance of maintaining the international community’s attention to the situation in the occupied Crimea, since its militarization is dangerous for both the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, Emine Dzheppar thanked Greece for its clear consistent position on supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, in particular, she noted the successful interaction of the two countries on this issue within the framework of international organizations in adopting relevant resolutions and other documents.

“The First Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining international attention to the situation in the Crimea occupied by Russia. She also noted that the Russian policy of militarizing the occupied Crimea poses a danger to both the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions”,- the statement said.
