FSB of the Russian Federation detained another Crimean Tatar

The FSB of Russia detained yet another Crimean Tatar, whose house was also searched – Zekirya Muratov. In addition, Dilyaver Memetov was put on the wanted list. This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Representative Lyudmila Denisova via her Facebook page.

“The information was confirmed about the seventh detained Crimean Tatar in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea in Alushta – Zekirya Muratov. Also, Dilyaver Memetov was put on the wanted list, who was detained in May this year while trying to cross the administrative border with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, however, he was subsequently released”,-  the message says.

Denisova emphasized that during searches of all detainees the so-called servicemen planted literature prohibited by the occupation authorities in the premises.

“This event was planned, the literature was planted, including to Oleksandr Syzykov, who completely lost his sight in 2009”,- she explained.

We remind that on July 7, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the dwellings of Crimean Tatars in  Bakhchisaray, Krasnohvardiiske and Simferopol regions of the occupied Crimea. Seven people were detained. All were taken to the FSB in Simferopol.
