The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Turkey during a working meeting coordinated steps to ensure the rights and interests of the Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea and the release of Ukrainian political prisoners. Turkey has once again confirmed the invariability of support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
During the working meeting, Turkey once again confirmed the invariability of support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the non-recognition of the illegal occupation of Crimea by the Russian Federation.
“The ministers coordinated steps, including at international sites, to ensure the rights and interests of the Crimean Tatars in the occupied Crimea and the release of Ukrainian political prisoners who are illegally detained on the peninsula and in the territory of the occupying country – Russia”,- the statement said.
