The list of persons to be summoned in the “case” against the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev includes Ervin Ibragimov, who was forcibly abducted on May 24, 2016, in Bakhchysarai. This was reported by the lawyer Nikolai Polozov on his Facebook page.

“Among the people to be summoned to court, I found Ervin Ibragimov, who was abducted on May 24, 2016, by unknown persons dressed in a Russian security uniform. For more than 4 years since the abduction, Ervin’s relatives and friends have not been able to find him. The investigative authorities of the Crimean occupation authorities are not in a hurry to solve this case. In fact, the case is suspended and no operational and investigative actions are being taken", the report said.

The lawyer noted that the reason for including Ervin Ibragimov in the witness list is the fact that on May 3, 2014, he, among other several thousand Crimean Tatars, arrived in Armyansk to meet Mustafa Dzhemilev, and later was interrogated.

For more than four years, the whereabouts of Ervin Ibragimov, a member of the executive board of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, who was forcibly abducted on May 24, 2016, in Bakhchysarai in occupied Crimea, remains unknown. The activist’s father believes that Erwin’s abduction was planned and implemented in advance by the government of the Russian Federation. It is significant that for four years there has been no progress in the "investigation" of the case by the occupying law enforcement agencies, and the whereabouts of the man remain unknown.
