On Thursday, June 18 the participants of the Russian initiative Strategy-18 held single pickets in Russia for the de-occupation of Crimea and in support of the Crimean Tatars. They unfurled posters with the words: “No genocide of the Crimean Tatars”, “Virus will go away – repressions will remain”, “Hybrid deportation – a new genocide of the Crimean Tatars”, “FSIN kills”, “Crimea is – Ukraine”, etc. The corresponding photo report the protesters published on the FB page.
"What is happening in the FSIN system against such a beautiful background? We observe with horror: visits with prisoners are canceled, jail transfers are canceled, only parcels are left, they don’t take medicine either … delay of letters. The danger of getting sick with a cursed COVID -19 only intensifies. And the idea of amnesty was simply buried in silence,"- the activists emphasized.
