The Crimean Tatar Dilyaver Memetov, who has already tried to leave the occupied Crimea for the mainland of Ukraine twice, was fined 2,000 rubles because of torn pages in the documents of the man. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
“The documents weren’t spoiled by Memetov. It’s illogical to go on the road with pages torn from the passport. He’s not crossing the border for the first time. Of course, we will appeal against the actions of border guards to the FSB and we will demand an audit of the legality of their actions by the Investigative Committee”,- said lawyer Nazim Sheikhmambetov.
It is noted that the man was released with a decree banning travel and a decree imposing an administrative penalty of 2,000 rubles.
