Ukraine extended the termination of the operation of the checkpoint on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea

May 25, 2020

Ukraine extended the termination of work of entry points to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and departure from it until June 22, 2020 due to the spread of coronavirus infection. This was reported via the Government portal.

“In the paragraph of the first order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 14, 2020 No. 291 “On the temporary cessation of work of entry points to the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and departure from it, aimed at preventing the spread of acute respiratory illness COVID-19 in Ukraine, caused by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus” the word “May” was replaced with the word “June””,- the document says.

We remind that the State Border Service of Ukraine can allow Ukrainians to enter and leave occupied Crimea during quarantine and temporary restrictions on the operation of the checkpoints in case of urgent humanitarian needs.
