The Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN once again called on the Russian Federation to stop human rights violations in the occupied Crimea and provide, without preconditions, access to the peninsula. This was reported via the department’s Twitter page.
“The tragedy in Crimea has human faces. Russia must stop violating human rights and provide, without preconditions, access to Crimea”,- the report said.

In addition, the Russian Federation was called on to end to the practice of forcibly moving and deporting protected persons, including detainees, to areas outside the occupied territory, and to refrain from forcing residents of the occupied Crimea to serve in the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
