The so-called second Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case defendant Server Mustafayev sent a letter dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People, in which he stressed that Russia continues the genocide in front of the whole world in the occupied Crimea, turning all international norms and treaties into rubbish. The text of the letter was posted by the Crimean Tatar activist Lenur Islyamov via his Facebook page.

The political prisoner emphasized that the systematic pressure on the Crimean Tatar people, repressions of Ukrainian citizens on ethnic and religious grounds, the organization of ethnically and politically motivated persecution of Crimean Tatars, the Mejlis, imams, human rights defenders, public figures and journalists in Crimea by state bodies, the law enforcement system of Russia is a conscious ethnocide policy of the inhabitants of Crimea and Crimean Tatars.
