Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine expects the Council of Europe to condemn crimes in Russia-occupied Crimea. This was reported via the page of the Head of the Ukrainian government on Twitter.
“On this day, a Charter of the Council of Europe was signed in 1949. Ukraine ratified it in 1995, which has demonstrated that it shares the principles of the rule of law, rights and freedoms of citizens. Ukraine expects the Council of Europe to condemn the crimes in Crimea and the Donbas occupied by Russia”,- the message emphasized.
