On Wednesday, May 6, political prisoner Abduraman Abdulveliev turned 18 years old. In 2019, the occupation authorities sentenced the teenager to six months of probation for removing three Russian flags from the administrative building of the village council in the village of Kurske, Bilohirsk District. The staff of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center sincerely congratulates Abduraman Abdulveliev on his birthday! We wish you good health, patience, unbending will and prosperity. Allah baht, sabır ve sağlıq versin!

We remind that on July 26, 2019, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the houses of Crimean Tatars in the village of Kurske, Bilohirsk District, and in the village of Kholodivka, Sudak District, in Crimea. The security forces came to search the dwellings of Mustafa Koki, Eskender Abduveliev, Ridvan Seitkhalilov and Seytumer Asanov. All of them live in the village of Kurske, Bilohirsk District. The fifth search took place in the house of Aziz-Mohammed Aliev, who lives in the village of Kholodivka, Sudak District. Later it became known that Eskender Abduveliev and Seytumer Asanov were taken from their dwellings to the Bilohirsk District Department of Internal Affairs.
It was reported that in May 2018, underage children, whose dwellings were searched, took off the flags of the Russian Federation from the administrative building of the village council and threw them away. On this fact, the investigation department opened a criminal case under Article 329 of the Criminal Code. The sanction of this article provides for probation, forced labor, arrest or imprisonment. Then the employees of the Center for Countering Extremism identified all the participants in the incident and interrogated them.
