Since the beginning of 2020, in the occupied Crimea 49 Crimean Tatar activists have received warnings from the so-called Russian authorities” about the inadmissibility of unauthorized events, such as meetings, marches, and rallies from February 23- 26 and from May 1-5, 2020.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center emphasizes that these actions are regarded as another fact of pressure on the Crimean Tatar people, who do not agree with the temporary occupation of the peninsula.
