On Friday, May 1, activist Lutfiie Zudiieva received a warning from the so-called Russian authorities about the inadmissibility of unauthorized events such as meetings, marches, and rallies on specific dates: May 3, May 18, and June 26, 2020. This is reported by the activist via her page on Facebook.
The so-called law enforcement officers read out a warning about the inadmissibility of activist Lutfiie Zudiieva to participate in unauthorized events, giving specific dates: May 3, May 18 and June 26, 2020.
“Supplicating a duʿāʾ in a mosque on May 18 is a terrible act of extremism. Believing in Allah and at the same time allowing yourself to criticize the actions of the authorities, who over the past 6 years simply terrorized your people with imprisonment for the term of 15-20 years, morning searches in dwellings where families sleep with small children and endless trials, is definitely an act of extremism! In its especially “dangerous manifestations”: Facebook posts, participation in public human rights events, meetings with journalists, assisting the families of political prisoners”,- the statement said.
