On Tuesday, April 28, during a press conference at “RIA Novosti”, the “head” of the occupied Simferopol, Elena Protsenko, stated that the situation with water supply is very difficult on the peninsula, the reservoirs are getting smaller and “the authorities will only hope for precipitation”.
"The situation is very complicated. It is impossible to hide that the reservoirs are becoming smaller and that this problem exists. The authorities of the republic deal with this problem every day," – Protsenko said.
She noted that the authorities "will hope for precipitation."
“The year was without precipitation, but this is not a new situation for Crimea. The main thing is that everyone should be safe and sound. I am turning now to the residents of our city: to protect as much as possible and value the much-needed and expensive resource for today,” -she emphasized.
