The FSB of the Russian Federation did not allow the swimmer and former dissident Oleg Sofyanik to cross the administrative-territorial line from the occupied Crimea to the mainland of Ukraine, as he holds imposed Russian citizenship. This was reported by Krym.Realii.
"Today, the FSB at Chongar checkpoint refused to let me go to mainland Ukraine. Despite the Ukrainian passport, the presence of imposed citizenship of Russia does not allow them to release people from the"Putin zone". So they explained. They did not even allow to come close to the border. Nor do they even talk. If you have a "Putin's Ausweiss", the slave's document, you are forever in a giant Russian prison. I will demand to annul my Russian citizenship imposed on me by the occupying regime”, said Sofyanik.
On November 15, 2020, Russian security forces detained swimmer Oleg Sofyanik at the territorial-administrative line. This was, according to Oleg, a hint from the Russian security forces that I should leave the peninsula.
