In the occupied Crimea, crews of aircraft and helicopters of the Black Sea Fleet Naval Aviation are preparing to participate in the airborne parade in honor of the so-called 75th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, despite the spread of coronavirus infection. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District.
“The crews of aircrafts and helicopters of the Maritime Aviation and Air Defense of the Black Sea Fleet have begun preparing flight shifts to participate in the airborne part of the Parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War”,- the report said.
It is noted that in late April and early May, control flights and a main rehearsal of the airborne part of the so-called Victory Parade are planned.
“In total, during the airborne part of the parade, 56 units of aviation equipment from the regiments of the Naval Aviation of the Black Sea Fleet and the airborne and air defense units of the Southern Military District will fly over the hero cities of Sevastopol, Novorossiysk and Kerch”,- the department added.
