"The Unified State Register of Real Estate contains information on 11,572 plots owned by foreign citizens on the peninsula. This list does not include the territories of Simferopol, Dzhankoy and Kranoperekopsk, as well as Bilohirsk, Krasnohvardiiske and Pervomaisk districts. It is noteworthy that such a large figure – these are only those sites that are currently already framed in accordance with Russian legislation”,- the report said.

It is noted that the number of property owners on the peninsula includes citizens of 55 foreign countries. The top five are residents of Ukraine (12,146), Belarus (570), Germany (355), Kazakhstan (334) and Uzbekistan (215).
