In the near future, the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case defendant Ayder Dzhapparov will face a transfer to Rostov-on-Don, since the investigative actions have already ended. The so-called investigator of the occupied Crimea reassures political prisoners, saying that it will be easier in the colony, but he also apologized. This was reported to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center by Ayder’s spouse Marharyta Dzhapparova.

“Investigative measures have been finished. My husband awaits a transfer to Rostov. The investigator reassures our husbands, saying that when they them to the colony, it will be easier … and he has also apologized, but I think this is not sincere”,- said the wife.
Marharyta noted that Ayder was a Ukrainian human rights activist, therefore, he is legally savvy and ready to defend himself, although he knows that he will have to fight the whole Rusiian legal system, but there is no need to wait for justice. There are many inaccuracies and errors by the prosecution, but all this is neatly recorded. He is ready to consider the merits in a military court.
“At the moment, his health condition is satisfactory. On New Year's Eve, he had severe tooth inflammation with fever up to 39 degrees C and severe headaches. Dental care was not provided. He could not eat normally for 2 weeks, because swallowing became painful. As a result, a week after the New Year’s weekend, we were able to transfer the antibiotics to the pre-trial detention center It was a relief”,- she added.
According to Ayder’s wife, after the tumor has dissappeared, proper help was not provided, therefore there is a risk of relapse. In conditions of pre-trial detention, it is better not to get sick, since deaths are not uncommon due to failure to provide medical care.
“People literally beat their heads against the iron doors, so that the administration pays attention to their critical condition. I can’t imagine what could happen if there was a coronavirus infection”,- the woman explained.
Marharyta emphasized that from the very moment of detention the official visits were refused, and “the investigator explained this by saying that such orders come from above.” The spouses keep the main connection through a lawyer, and their letters mostly do not reach each other.
“We perfectly understand that a prison is a prison. Both the colony and the pre-trial detention center. My husband is not ready to give part of his life (and maybe the rest of his life) for anything to this punitive system. We will fight”,- she emphasized.
We remind that on June 10, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the dwellings of Crimean Tatars in Alushta, Bilohirsk and Simferopol. As a result, 8 people were detained on suspicion of involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization banned in the Russian Federation. On June 10 and 11, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol chose a preventive measure in the form of detention until August 5 of the Crimean Tatar detainees – Riza Omerov, Enver Omerov, Ayder Dzhapparov, Eskender Suleymanov, Ruslan Nagaev, Eldar Kantimirov, Ruslan Mensutov and Lenur Khalilov.
On March 25, in the so-called Kyiv District Court a court session on the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case was held, during which the defendants in the so-called case were extended a preventive measure. Enver Omerov, Riza Omerov and Ayder Dzhapparov will remain in jail until May 5, 2020.
