In the occupied Crimea, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a so-called criminal case against the Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov, he is suspected of “organizing riots in 2014.” This was reported by the press service of the investigative committee.
“The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol opened a criminal case against the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People – Refat Chubarov, who is charged with organizing riots involving violence (part 1 of article 212 of the Criminal Code)”,- the message claimed.
It is noted that evidence of Chubarov’s involvement “in the direct organization of the riots near the building of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” was discovered.
