For more than seven years, the whereabouts of young Crimean Tatars, kidnapped in Crimea, Islyam Dzhepparov (born in 1995) and his cousin Dzhevdet Islyamov (born in 1991), have remained unknown. On September 27, 2014, in the village of Sary-Su near Bilohirsk, unidentified persons with the use of force pushed the young men into a car and took them away in an unknown direction.
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea opened a criminal case on the grounds of corpus delicti under paragraphs A and G of Part 2 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Russia (abduction of a person committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy against two or more persons), but to this day there is no information about the missing.
The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine opened a case on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal imprisonment or kidnapping of a person committed against two or more persons or by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
