On Friday, the 31st of May, the so-called “Kyiv District Court of Simferopol” ruled to impose a 1000 rubles fine on the Crimean Tatar activist Mumine Saliieva. She was charged under article 20.3 of the Administrative Code of Russia – “demonstration of prohibited symbols”.
Her mobile phone, that had been seized earlier, was pledged to be returned.
We remind, that on the 30th of May, the Crimean Tatar activist Lutfie Zudiieva was detained in Dzhankoy (Canköy). Later, Russian security forces detained a Crimean Tatar activist in Bakhchysarai, the wife of a defendant in the second Bakhchysarai “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” Seyran Saliiev, the coordinator of the “Crimean Childhood” initiative Mumine Saliieva. Later they were released, however, while being charged under article 20.3 of the Administrative Code of Russia – "demonstration of prohibited symbols".
