The figurant of the “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” Ayder Saledinov was placed in a special block

The figurant of Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir” case Ayder Saledinov was placed in a special unit of the detention center in Rostov-on-Don. The reasons of tightening this regime are unknown. This is reported by the “Crimean solidarity” with a reference to the lawyer Lilya Gemedzhi.

According to the lawyer, the practice of this procedure in the detention center allows to form a negative response to all those who are charged under article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Recall on October 12, 2016, the Russian security forces as a result of mass searches in Strogonovka village of Simferopol region five representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people – Uzeir Abdullaev, Teymur Abdullayev, Rustem Ismailov, Emil Dzhemadenov and Ayder Saledinov were detained. They were accused of participation in prohibited in Russia organization “Hizb ut-Tahrir ”. They are charged with article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("establishment of a  terrorist organization and participation in it").

On February 18, the North-Caucasian District Military Court extended  the detention period  for figurants of Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir” case for three months until May 27, 2019.
