This is reported by human rights defenders of “Crimean solidarity” public association.

Judge of the Kirovsky district “court” Anastasia Bodenko found seamstress Emine Zekeryaeva from Stary Krym guilty and imposed a fine of 50 thousand rubles.

According to the investigation, in 2016, Zekeryaeva in “VKontakte” communicated with a citizen of Ukraine Madina Stryapcha, who subsequently travelled to Syria, joined an armed formation there, which has goals “contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation”, and planned to commit a terrorist attack. The Crimean Tatar was accused of failing to provide investigators with information about Stryapcha.

“From that seven-year-old correspondence in VKontakte, which the FSB received, it does not follow that someone was preparing or committing a crime. There were no legal grounds for accusing my client,” – said the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.

We remind you, in November 2023 a  25-year-old Zekeryaeva was prosecuted for failure to report a crime.
