Crimean political prisoner Zaur Abdullaiev has been transferred to the Russian prison in Vladimir for almost a month. This was reported by Emine Abdullaieva on her Facebook page.
“Today I finally received news from my spouse Zaur Abdullaiev. On 17.02 their transtition to the city of Vladimir, prison number 2, started. After almost a month they have reached it,” – reported Emine Abdullaieva.
We want to remind that on 17 August 2021, Russian security forces came to the houses of five Crimean Tatars: Dzebbar Bekirov, Zaur Abdullaiev, Rustem Tairov, Raif Fevziev and Rustem Murasov. All the activists were detained. On August 17, 2021, the “Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol” elected Dzebar Bekirov and Rustem Tairov a “measure of restraint in the form of detention” until October 11, 2021, and the ” Kyiv District Court of Simferopol” elected Imam Raif Fevziev a “measure of restraint in the form of detention” until October 12, 2021. On 18 August 2021, the ” Lenin District Court of Sevastopol” elected Rustem Murasov and Zaur Abdulaiev “a measure of restraint in the form of detention” until October 11, 2021.
On October 6, 2021, the Russia-controlled Lenin District Court of Sevastopol extended the arrest of Crimean activist Zaur Abdulaiev, who was detained after searches on August 17, for 4 months – until January 22, 2022.
