Ukrainian blogger Yaroslav Zhuk said that the employees of the Rostov pre-trial detention center beat him. This is reported by the Crimean process.

According to Zhuk, he was beaten by three people whose faces he could not see because he was not allowed to raise his head.

“I have signs of beatings. They put me on the floor, doused me with cold water, beat me and then electrocuted,- Zhuk reports.

The defense filed a complaint about this with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

In addition, it is known that in the pre-trial detention center he was not given bedding and he was forced to sleep on the floor of the cell without a mattress.

We remind you that Yaroslav Zhuk was kidnapped in June 2022 in Melitopol, after which he was transferred to the occupied Crimea, where he was accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 361 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
