On October 24, Taurida National University named after Vernadsky will organise the II Crimean Tatar Language Olympiad. This is a great opportunity for everyone to test their knowledge and join the preservation and development of the Crimean Tatar language and culture.
The Olympiad will consist of test tasks on the following topics:
- Lexico-grammatical test on the Crimean Tatar language (50 points).
- Linguа-country studies of Crimea (50 points).
The language of the tasks is Crimean Tatar. The participants who will show the best results will receive diplomas for I, II and III places.
After the Olympiad, the participants will have a meeting with the lecturers of the Crimean Tatar Language and Literature Department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Journalism of the Taurida National University. They will tell in detail about the possibilities of studying at the bachelor’s and master’s levels on specialities:
- 014.011 Crimean Tatar language and literature, English;
- 035.02 Crimean Tatar language and literature, English language and translation;
- 035.02 Crimean Tatar Philology and Journalism, English and Translation.
