Abnormal heat, observed this summer in the occupied Crimea, can lead to the loss of a large part of the grape harvest. This is reported  by ‘Krym.Realii’ with reference to the comment of the Crimean agronomist, whose name is not disclosed for security reasons.
It should be noted that in addition to grapes, this year’s drought also affected grain, technical and fodder crops. The occupation authorities of Crimea are not coping with the consequences of the drought. All this is happening against the backdrop of increasing general water shortages. Many reservoirs in Crimea are rapidly losing water reserves. Water shortages for the population are becoming more frequent.

The losses incurred by the unique nature of Crimea can be irreparable.

All of this is happening, in part, because of the inability of the occupation authorities temporarily dominating the Ukrainian peninsula to resolve the issue of water supply and reclamation.

And we recall that due to the illegal occupation of Ukrainian Crimea, the water supply for land reclamation, which was taking place through the North Crimean Canal, was stopped.
