Verkhovna Rada decides to approve the statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the steadfastness of the state policy on deoccupation and reintegration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea

On 3 September, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decided to approve the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the steadfastness of the state policy of Ukraine on deoccupation and reintegration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Akyar (Sevastopol). This is reported by the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

‘Thus, the result of the implementation of the Formula of Peace of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky should be the cessation of Russian aggression, deoccupation of all temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, release by the Russian Federation of all persons deprived of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, restoration of international civil navigation in the Azov-Black Sea region, prevention of armed conflicts and elimination of threats to peace in Ukraine and the world’, – reports the Mission.

The reintegration of Crimea after deoccupation and the implementation of the principles of transitional justice are also a priority of the state policy.
