Ukraine will host a marathon to write articles for the Crimean Tatar version of Wikipedia.
The marathon is organised by the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine and the public organisation “Wikimedia Ukraine” and follows the rules of the world Wikipedia. The marathon is designed to popularise the culture, language and history of the Crimean Tatars.
Participants can be anyone who knows Crimean Tatar at different levels. The organizers will award ten participants who will make the greatest contribution to the whole marathon.
To participate in the contest “Serbest Entsiklopediya: a marathon to support the Crimean Tatar Wikipedia 2024” it is necessary to fill in the corresponding questionnaire.
The marathon will run online from 20 June to 20 July.
