Ukraine releases textbook for seventh grade with a map of the country without Crimea

A Ukrainian language textbook for the seventh grade by Anastasiya Onatiy and Taras Tkachuk, which was recommended by the  Ministry of Education was published in 2024 at the expense of public funds, has been found to contain a map of Ukraine without Crimea.
This was reported by literary critic, book reviewer Tatyana Gonchenko on her TG-channel ‘Nerozbuvnyi knigachitun’.

Anastasiya Onatiy said that the map of Ukraine without Crimea appeared in the textbook ‘due to an unfortunate inattention’ and suggested that fellow teachers who receive her textbook should hold a flash mob ‘Draw Crimea’ during lessons.
