An occupation court in Crimea has handed down “sentences” to two men accused of working for the SSU and preparing the murder of “the first persons of Crimea”.
According to a report from the occupation FSB of Russia’s and Sevastopol, city the convicts allegedly acted in favour of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry’s GUR, spying on officials and planning “terrorist acts” on the peninsula.
One of the men received 10 years in prison, restriction of freedom for 1 year and a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
The other – 9.5 years of strict regime colony with serving the first 2 years in prison with restriction of freedom for 1 year 6 months and a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
The occupation agency also added video of detention of the convicts.
