The work of the II Strategic Forum The Future of Crimea, which is held by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine, continues.
Chairman of the Board of the CTRC, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev presented scientists with an overview of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for deoccupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. After which, all experts together had the opportunity to analyze the document in detail in the following areas: protection of human rights and freedoms, legal protection of Ukrainian citizens and legal entities, economic policy, social and humanitarian policy, environmental policy, information policy, strengthening national sustainability, international cooperation, defense policy and security policy, features of state policy to ensure the deoccupation of the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
In addition, the event participants got acquainted with the recommendations for the reintegration of Crimea, which were developed during the First Strategic Forum Future of Crimea and concerned 10 areas:
- Public authority
- Criminal policy.
- Civil policy.
- Migration policy.
- Social and humanitarian policy.
- Information policy.
- Environmental policy.
- Policy of justice.
- International policy.
- Anti-corruption policy.
Experts discussed these recommendations in detail and made their proposals for improving the document.
We remind you that 20 experts take part in the forum, including representatives of the academic community of Ukraine, experts from the Expert Network of the Crimean Platform, public figures, journalists, doctors and candidates of legal, geographical, economic, political, sociological, historical and pedagogical sciences.
