The Wife of Crimean political prisoner Arsen Abkhairov files a lawsuit to transfer the man to another colony

The wife of political prisoner Arsen Abkhairov, who was previously sentenced to 13 years in prison by the occupiers, has filed a lawsuit to transfer the man to a colony closer to home. This is reported by ‘Crimean solidarity’ public association.

We will remind, on 14 February 2019, Russian security forces conducted another search in the houses of Crimean Tatars in the settlement of Oktyabrske in the Krasnogvardeysky district. Three men were detained and taken to the FSB department. Criminal cases were opened against them on suspicion of organisation and participation in the activities of the ‘Hizb ut-Tahrir’organisation  banned in the territory of the Russian Federation.

On  February15, the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol arrested the Crimean Tatars – Eskender Abdulganiev, Rustem Emiruseinov and Arsen Abkhairov – detained after the search.
