In response to a request from lawyer Edem Semedliaiev, the investigative department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Akyar (Sevastopol) stated that it did not know about the whereabouts of Farhad Soliiev. Crimean Solidarity reports this.
According to the acting deputy chief Degtyarev, no investigative actions were carried out against Soliiev – there are not even criminal proceedings.
Human rights activists have already sent requests to the Federal Penitentiary Service, the military investigation department, the military prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation, the prosecutor’s office of the garrison and the Republic of Crimea, the police department of the Gagarin district and the police department of Aqmescit (Simferopol), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB of Russia.
“There is silence everywhere. Only once did they call your mother and ask what materials you want to get acquainted with”,- noted Lilia Hemedzhi.
She also added that from December 11 she plans to file a lawsuit regarding the inaction of law enforcement agencies.
