Political prisoner Nariman Dzhelyalov has not been in contact for two months since the start of his transfer. His wife Leviza Dzhelyalova reported this on her Facebook page.
“Now, according to letters received from the guys with the help of Zonatelecom, it is known that Aziz arrived at the place of serving his sentence on November 10 in Prison-2 of the city of Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Asan is now on his way to the Vladimir prison, after four pre-trial detention centers in which he spent some time on the road”,- she wrote.
It is unknown where and in what condition he is.
“Why I couldn’t use it to announce myself is a rhetorical question, I think. I am sure that this is being done specifically with the aim of exerting psychological pressure and moral oppression on him, which equate to violence. I believe that this will not break Nariman’s fortitude, but given such a long journey to nowhere, worries about his physical health worry me very much”,- Leviza noted.
The wife of the political prisoner, together with her lawyer, sent a statement to the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Moscow and the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory so that they would immediately be informed of Dzhelyalov’s location and his state of health. Still no answer.
“Sending Nariman to the most remote prison and thereby isolating Nariman as much as possible was not enough; apparently, it was also necessary to torture the illegally convicted man and his family. Such cruel realities are because of people who consider themselves the arbiters of destinies”,- noted the wife of an illegally convicted Crimean Tatar.
