As of January 8, 2024, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have captured at least 41 military personnel from Crimea. This was reported by the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Most of the 41 prisoners are likely Ukrainian citizens.
Let us remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center last year launched an information campaign “Grave Mogilization”, within the framework of which residents of Crimea are informed about the consequences of participating in the war on the side of the Russian Federation, how they can avoid mobilization, what to do if they receive a summons, how to travel to third countries etc.
