The historian Seytumer Seytumerov, as well as his younger brother and uncle, are going to be transferred from the Novocherkassk pre-trial detention center to a colony. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity.

Seytumer told his wife, Pakize Seytumerova, that he had been placed in a special block in the pre-trial detention center. It is not known whether the Seytumerov brothers are in the same colony, however, it is noted that their uncle Rustem Seitmemetov was temporarily left in the Ulyanovsk pre-trial detention center.

“We were together: me, brother Osman and Rustem Dai. My uncle taken away in the city of Ulyanovsk. Here, in the pre-trial detention center of Perm, Osman is also detained, I was placed in a special block, in a double cell. In Perm we will temporarily and one of these days continue our way further. We do not stay anywhere longer than one or two days”,- Seytumer Seytumerov said in a letter.

We remind you that on March 11, 2020, Russian security forces raided the houses of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchysarai and the Bakhchysarai region with searches. The searches were carried out in the house of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seidamet Mustafaiev, Rustem Seitmemetov, Aider Suleimanov and Seytumer Seytumerov. On March 12, the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol placed Amet Suleimanov under house arrest. On March 13, the Kyiv district court chose a measure of restraint for the defendants in the third Bakhchysarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Osman Seytumerov, Seytumer Seytumerov and Rustem Seitememetov – in the form of detention.
