Now the checkpoints between the occupied Crimea and the Kherson region are equal in status to those on the state borders of the Russian Federation.
“Introduce a special regime for entry into the territory of the Republic of Crimea from the Kherson region and exit from the territory of the Republic of Crimea into the Kherson region… Establish that in order to ensure the functioning of checkpoints there is a regime at checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation and the corresponding powers of officials of border authorities”,– says the decree.
