Historical names of settlements of Crimea appeared on the chevrons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported on Refat Chubarov’s Facebook page.
“In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the basis of the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion, whose fighters were hardened in battles near Bakhmut, a special assault battalion is being formed, which is especially expected to include those liable for military service – natives and residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea”,- he said.
A photo with chevrons was attached to the post.
“The picture shows chevrons indicating the settlements of temporarily occupied Crimea, whose residents are already serving in the unit”,- he added.
