Members of the Public Council under the State Service of Ukraine on Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience held 2 meetings.
In particular, the discussions concerned the Draft Methodology for the Use of Languages of Ethnic Minorities (Communities) of Ukraine, the Draft Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine On consolidating the legal status of the representative body of the Crimean Tatar people”,- and many other issues, the results of which can be found on the SEFC website.
Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Chairman of the Public Council at the SSUEFC Eskender Bariiev noted that the Methodology for using the languages of national minorities of Ukraine must comply with the Constitution of Ukraine and the legislation of Ukraine, while simultaneously ensuring the interests of all national minorities and indigenous peoples living on the territory of Ukraine.
“Therefore, we will adopt the final version during our next meeting, taking into account all comments and suggestions”,- he added.
