On Thursday, March 9, in the village of Krasnohvardiiske, a search was conducted in the house of the Crimean Tatar Memet Ashurov, after which he was arrested. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity.
According to his wife, at six in the morning an investigator, two witnesses, and at least 9 other people in masks broke into the house, and they searched for about an hour and a half. The search protocol was not shown to the relatives. Ashurov’s phone, hard drive and equipment with CCTV cameras were confiscated.
Memet Ashurov, 31, is now at the FSB headquarters in Simferopol. The FSB said that the searches were taking place in connection with the damage to the railway track in the Bakhchisarai region.
