The occupation court left the administrative arrest of Zinur Appazov unchanged

The occupation Supreme Court of Crimea considered an appeal against the administrative arrest of a member of the Alushta religious organization, Zinur Appazov, and left the verdict unchanged.

Lawyer Nazim Sheikhmambetov reported this

“The defense filed a complaint, the evidence from the trial court was analyzed and examined, which is reflected in the appeals. Today, the appeal court left our complaints unsatisfied, and the decision of the first instance court of the Alushta City Court remained unchanged. I believe that this decision does not comply with the law, it contradicts the actual circumstances”,- the lawyer noted.

According to him, the defense pointed out the presence of gross procedural violations. In particular, the ruling, the court decision, was based on an examination that was not carried out by an appropriate expert and in violation of all other provisions and requirements for the law, including international law, for the conduct of such examinations.

Sheikhmambetov noted that the court ignored and did not give any assessment to the defense evidence.

Let us recall that the Alushta City Court convicted him under the first article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Inciting hatred or enmity).
