The prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol filed an indictment against Mufti of Muslims of Crimea Emirali Ablaiev, who cooperates with the Russian authorities. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor’s office on Facebook.

Ablaev was accused of justifying, recognizing as lawful and denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants (part 3 of article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and collaboration activities (part 6 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to 12 years in prison.
