On Tuesday, January 24, at a meeting of the Government, a resolution “On ensuring the exercise by foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine of powers in the field of state registration of acts of civil status under martial law” was adopted, which will soon come into force.
To implement the resolution, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is preparing a list of consular and diplomatic institutions, which will first of all be connected to the state registry office.
During the meeting of the Coordinating Headquarters on the issues of ensuring the departure of citizens of Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine through third countries, the lawyer of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Volodymyr Liashenko proposed, as a matter of priority, to include consular offices in Turkey, Germany and Poland in the state registry office.
