The international movement #LIBERATECRIMEA continues to work for the deoccupation of Crimea. In 2023, the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign reached more than 23 million people in Ukraine and abroad.
This is how many people have deepened their knowledge about the situation in Crimea. This is exactly how many people took part in our activities. That’s how many people helped keep the Crimea topic at the top!
Let us remind you that the information campaign #LIBERATECRIMEA is timed to coincide with historical dates associated with Crimea:
February 26 – Day of resistance to the occupation of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol
May 18 – Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Crimean Tatar Genocide
June 26 – Day of the Crimean Tatar National Flag
August 9 – Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples
December 10 — Human Rights Day
In addition, we raise other important topics such as: the return of historical names in Crimea, illegal mobilization on the peninsula, the future of Crimea, the participation of the Crimean Tatars in the Russian-Ukrainian war etc.
The results of the campaign can be found on the landing page of the CTRC.
We are very pleased that the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign was able to reach so many people and that it helps educate the Ukrainian and international community about the situation in Crimea.
