We would like to remind you that on February 27, the exhibition “Crimea Resists” was opened in Kyiv. This unique exposition, created by the CTRC, Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and activists of the international movement #LIBERATECRIMEA, was brought to life by artist Andriy Yermolenko. It is part of the information resistance and consists of 15 posters created during 11 years of struggle against the occupation of Crimea.

The works reflect the resistance of activists from different parts of the world who used non-violent and creative methods to counter Russian propaganda and disinformation. They are an artistic chronicle of the struggle for freedom that continues today.

The exhibition aims to emphasize that the struggle for Crimea has not stopped, and the world continues to support Ukraine and the Crimean Tatar people in their quest for justice. The posters convey important messages about illegal occupation, systemic human rights violations, and international solidarity in the struggle for the liberation of Crimea, which continues today

Art is a powerful tool in confronting injustice. This exhibition is a reminder that Crimea was, is and will be Ukraine, and the resistance will continue until the peninsula is liberated!

The exhibition will later be available online at the Crimean Tatar Resource Center’s website.
